School level science exhibition event



Kathmandu, June 3: One day school level science exhibition event was held at the Nirvanan Secondary School premises of Lalitpur on Friday. The programme featured 30 projects of three schools.

The exhibition was organised by the Leo District Council. Around 30 projects of three schools were put on display at the second Dreams Science Expo of the Leo. Raju Shrestha, general secretary of Bagmati Province visited the exhibition. All the items were prepared by students of grade 8 to 10. Over 300 students participated at the exhibition, said Leo Kundan Giri, president of Lio Club of Kathmandu Dreams.

The exhibition aimed at providing practical platforms to exhibit whatever students have learnt in their classrooms, he said. The students of three school of Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Godawari carried out experiments on Hydroelectricity, smart street, foo machine, obstacle avoiding robot, and other mores.

The school students seemed excited to exhibit their creativity among their friends and other visitors.
